The Anatomy of a Museum-Grade Exhibition Wrap

To create a striking, immersive experience for the exhibition’s entry point, our design and production teams combined high-performance graphic materials with custom dimensional fabrication.

1. The Foundation: 3M 40C Controltac™ Matte Vinyl

For the massive backdrop featuring a panoramic view of the Riverside landscape, we selected 3M 40C premium vinyl. This choice was highly deliberate:

• Zero Glare: Under the bright, direct spotlighting of the museum gallery, a glossy finish would create distracting reflections. The premium matte finish ensures the deep, rich burgundy tones and sepia gradients remain flawlessly visible from any angle in the room.
• Flawless Adhesion & Longevity: 3M’s advanced micro-replicated technology allows our in-house installation team to apply the massive vinyl panels smoothly to the wall surface, ensuring zero bubbles, perfectly seamless transitions, and long-term durability for the duration of the exhibit.

2. The Pop: Cut-to-Shape Dimensional Foam Lettering Overlay

To make the historic, Old English-style “We the People” title explode off the wall, we didn't just print it flat.

Instead, we moved the project over to our dedicated, specialized fabrication equipment. Our operators precisely cut the bold white lettering out of premium structural foam board using our heavy CNC routers, meticulously matching the sharp, intricate contours of the calligraphy. By layering these custom cut-to-shape dimensional letters directly on top of the printed 3M vinyl backdrop, we created an elegant, high-impact drop-shadow effect in real physical space.
